Android 4.0 Platform

Android 4.0 is based on what people love about Android - effective multitasking, notice the rich, home screen, resizable widgets depth and interactivity - and adds new ways to communicate and share powerful. It contains many features for users, including exchanges and social integration, control of network usage data, camera and advanced connectivity options and set the standard application updates.

For developers, the Android 4.0 many new features and APIs. Here are some highlights:

    Integrated UI Toolkit: A single set of UI components, styles and features to cell phones, Tablet PCs and other devices.

    Rich communication and exchange: New social calendar and API, Android NFC beams for instant sharing, supports Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth Health Device Profile support.

    Interactivity and individualization Far: Improved notification lockscreen with a camera and music control and better management in the application launcher.

    The new graphics, a camera and support functions: image and video effects, and dosage appropriate camera face detection, new media codecs and containers.

    Interface and Input: 2D hardware acceleration based on the grid to draw a new layout, improved soft-keyboard, spelling API to support a better stylus and mouse support.

    Improved accessibility: New Accessibility API, text-to-Speech API to write new drivers.

    Extensions for Business: Key Chain-VPN services and APIs to manage power and connections, the new administration policy to turn off the camera.

In addition to the new Android platform, we are in a new version of the SDK tools (R14) and the ADT plugin (14.0) for Eclipse. Among the highlights:
