In recent years we have seen very strong growth in the number of Android users around the world. To make it easier for users to buy their favorite apps and games on the Android Market, we provide direct carrier billing carrier networks further in South Korea, Britain and Germany.
SK Telecom and KT Corporation - In South Korea, we began a phased introduction of services to users in the first two operators' networks. When finished, the roll-out will reach over 10 million users, who may be able to report directly to their Android Market purchases to their telephone bills charged.
In Europe, we are launching the service to users of two popular regional carriers, Vodafone and Vodafone UK DE. Initially, the service is available only to users who purchased their equipment through online and retail Vodafone.
The new products extend the network of support, with direct billing to the U.S. on T-Mobile, AT & T and Sprint networks, and Japan to Softbank, KDDI and NTT DOCOMO network.
